Shathayu Ayurveda was established in 1901 with an intension of providing effective & economical health care services to mankind. It has emerged as a pioneer in health and wellness industry with its customized treatments for various diseases.

Shathayu Ayurveda is in existence for 117 years with more than 140 formulations. Ayurveda Medicines and oils that are used for treatments are manufactured at our own facility with GMP certified and with strict quality control measures. We have Established 20 plus Ayurveda clinics across Bangalore and Hyderabad. Our own training facilities are used for training 40 plus doctors and 100 plus skilled therapists and technicians. We have Specific protocols for various ailments developed by our R & D after years of clinical research.

Conceptualized by doctors, Shathayu Ayurveda has an in house medical pharmacy, providing treatments which are research based and result oriented with the focus of prevention cure and wellness.

SHATHAYU means 100 years of disease free life. The loop at the centre of the logo symbolizes healthy balance between body, mind and spirit. We HEAL the root cause where it extends the energy in the form of leaves to have a FULLER life.

Our Story

Ayurvedacharya SiddayyaSwamy can be identified as the key person for the formation and creation of Shathayu Ayurveda. He passed his traditional practice of ayurveda science to his son, renowned Vaidya RamayyaSwamy, who was admired and worshipped by people as Vaidya Ratna who really created the base for Shathayu Ayurveda in 1901.

To bring authenticity to the medical treatments and also having formed his own unique formulations, he obtained trade licenses from Hyderabad Nizam Government and trade licenses from Madras Government.

It was the turn of Dr. OmkarSwamy to pick the mantle from his father. Although being a doctor of modern medicine he continued the good work keeping the Ayurvedic traditions alive, and renamed Ramayya Ayurvedic Aushadalaya as “Mallinath Ayurveda”.

To meet the demands of the modern times when Ayurveda has become more relevant as a reliable treatment source, Dr. MruthyunjayaSwamy along with likeminded Ayurvedic doctors, gave a professional look to the whole of the operations and started Shathayu Ayurveda making it a Pvt. Ltd. company with its first Directors being himself and Dr. Anitha Bhat.
